Scrummy Sweets is officially now SWITCH®. Registered trademark and all!
Same mission. Same Zero-BS standards. But with a name — and purpose — that finally match what we’re actually here to do.
And today, I want to tell you why we made the switch. Because this rebrand wasn’t just “hair and make-up", and it definitely wasn’t a marketing stunt.
It was a necessity — for our community, for ingredient transparency, and for the future of truly healthy sweet alternatives.
The Food Industry Is Changing — Suddenly, Very Publicly
In the past year alone, the giants of the food world have been scrambling:

A few years ago, these companies wouldn’t even discuss artificial dyes publicly. Now they’re racing to remove them.
It's the result of consumers paying closer attention to what they put in their mouths— and big brands being forced to catch up.
But here’s the flip side: all this noise can make things incredibly confusing. Parents, keto folks, diabetics, and health-conscious adults are asking me more than ever: “Okay… if all these are bad, then what candy is actually healthy?”
Which is why Scrummy needed to evolve.
Scrummy Was Cute — SWITCH® Is a Clear Invitation
When I created Scrummy Sweets in 2020, the name made sense. It was a nod to my husband's heritage, and it was fun and playful in a nostalgic way — perfect for my first sugar-free gummies.
But as the brand grew, I noticed something:
People weren’t just buying candy. They were buying moments of normalcy and joy, without the guilt or being betrayed by "healthy" impersonators.
They wanted:

Scrummy didn’t communicate any of that.
It sounded nostalgic — but it didn’t tell the truth about what we actually stand for.

Why SWITCH? Because People Need More Than Treats — They Need Clarity
For years, I’ve watched “sugar-free” and “healthy” candies hide stuff that absolutely does not belong in a wellness journey.
Artificial sweeteners, chemical additives, sweeteners that spike blood sugar (like IMO), industrial seed oils, GMOs, glyphosate, and more.
When people ask me how to avoid these ingredients, I realized: I wasn’t just running a candy company. I was running a resource, an educational platform, and a safe space for people who want real answers — not gimmicks.
Scrummy couldn’t hold that mission anymore. SWITCH® could.
The Rebrand Is About Education — Not Aesthetics
Over the years, I've earned the trust and support of numerous leaders in the metabolic space. Doctors, coaches, practitioners, influencers and parents trust our products because they support a metabolic health journey.
Turns out, this is an anomaly in the keto/metabolic space. Because most brands in this space are full of BS. So, we needed to differentiate ourselves from everyone else.
The rebrand isn’t about making SWITCH® look cooler or trendier. It’s about making our purpose clearer and easier to recognize in an industry full of confusion.
As health research keeps emerging — about inflammation, glycemic load, mental health, skin conditions, childhood development, and even long-term brain health — people are realizing how much sugar and artificial ingredients impact more than just weight.

To be clear: my commitment to Zero-BS isn’t changing. The reason for our rebrand is that we outgrew 'Scrummy' and its playful tone in search of an identity that better showcases our mission.
If anything, SWITCH® lets us double down on everything you already love: truly zero-sugar candy that genuinely supports metabolic health, made without any of the BS — including sugar and other ingredients known to drive inflammation, like industrial seed oils and GMOs. It’s candy without all the artificial junk, created for everyone, from people with diabetes and those in the keto community to families simply looking for better alternatives.
SWITCH is who we’ve always been — but finally with a name that tells the story.
